San Miguel adds fruit from Egypt to its portfolio
Strengthening its identity as a global supplier, San Miguel is consolidating itself in Egypt as the 4th country of origin of its citrus fruit, joining Argentina, Uruguay and South Africa.
The beginning of 2017 has been very auspicious for San Miguel: on Sunday, January 15th, the first shipment with 10 containers of Navels sat sail from our associated producers in Egypt to the European Union.
After a first successful experience in 2016, we can assert that Egypt is consolidated as the fourth country of origin for the fruit of San Miguel. In the coming days (first week of February) we will be reaching the first 50 containers loaded with Egyptian Navels.
This confirms San Miguel's identity as a global supplier and continues to expand our annual supply window.
