Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said Wednesday that he is " not seeing a major risk to the U.S. economy" from the unfolding crisis in Cyprus .
He said the Mediterranean nation is in a "difficult situation," but he doesn't see a widespread impact.
"I don't think impact has been enormous," he said at a press conference. "We hope the Europeans will come up with an efficient and equitable solution."
