Treasury to sell warrants in Citi, other firms

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- The Treasury Department said it's going to be selling warrants it received as part of the capital purchase program and the targeted investment program, including warrants for Citigroup , Boston Private Financial Holdings and Wintrust Financial in the current quarter. Apart from the warrants, Treasury has fully sold all other securities issued to it by Citigroup Inc., and each of the other financial institutions has fully repurchased Treasury´s preferred stock investment, Treasury said. Deutsche Bank Securities is the auction agent and sole bookrunning manager.
