Vale on the closing of the cobalt streaming transactions

Rio de Janeiro, June 28th, 2018 - Vale S.A. (Vale) confirms that it has completed the transactions with Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (Wheaton) and Cobalt 27 Capital Corp. (Cobalt 27) for the sale of a combined 75% cobalt stream with reference to the cobalt by-product of the Voisey’s Bay mine, to be delivered from January 1st, 2021, which encompasses the ramp-down of production from the existing Voisey’s Bay mine and the life of mine production from the Voisey’s Bay underground mine expansion project (VBME). In accordance with the terms previously disclosed on June 11th, 2018, Vale received today US$ 390 million in cash from Wheaton and US$ 300 million in cash from Cobalt 27 on closing.

The streaming transactions are consistent with Vale’s rigorous discipline of capital allocation, as it unlocks the VBME, by reducing the financial risks associated with the project.

Vale informs about short-term facilities to Samarco

Rio de Janeiro, June 28th, 2018 – Vale S.A. (Vale) informs that it intends to make available short-term facilities of up to US$ 53 million to Samarco to support its operations and repair works in the second half of 2018 (2H18), as well as the expenses related to the experts named pursuant to the Agreement with the Public Prosecutors, signed in June, 2018, without undertaking an obligation from Vale to Samarco. Funds will be released on an as-needed basis. Likewise, BHP Billiton Brasil Ltda. intends to make available to Samarco short-term facilities with similar terms and conditions as mentioned above. ​

In addition, given Samarco’s current cash flow projections, shareholders will be called upon to fulfill its obligations, according to their stake in Samarco (50% each), under the Agreement for the restoration of the environment and communities affected by the Samarco dam failure. Therefore, Vale expects to contribute about R$ 557.5 million in 2H18, with this amount offsetting the provision recorded in the second quarter of 2016 (2Q16).

Desde que salió lo del acuerdo por Samarco BHP viene reaccionando muy bien.
Calculo que en algún momento VALE la acompañará.

hace 20 días que cerró abajo de la ema20 y la ma8, fue techo en un par de ocaciones y está siendo techo ahora
un cierre por arriba de 12,85 me da un poco de ilusión (se me nota que quedé mal comprado)

mira yo pense que iba a ser dificil y eso una pavada abrir la cuenta y fondearla. de hecho fondearla en el mismo dia que transferi de aca alla me acredito TDA, mas rapido que fondear un broker argentino.

tenes que llamar, te pasan a tu mail todo el check list y formularios, lo subis a una plataforma de ellos y dps te mandan por mail si esta ok o falta algo. una vez q esta todo te manda a tu casa x correo el password del usuario y listo.
