TXAR Ternium Argentina (ex ERAR)
Re: TXAR Ternium Argentina (ex ERAR)
Antes de eso:
US Steel (NYSE:X) ticked up at least partly amid a report about additional bidders for the steelmaker, along with the reported names of Cleveland-Cliffs (NYSE:CLF) and ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT).
Techint, an Argentinian company with a U.S. subsidiary called Ternium, is also believed to be one of the bidders for US Steel (X), CNBC's David Faber said on the business network on Friday. Techint may not want all the assets, but as much as 90% of them.
Other bidders may include Nucor (NUE), which may be only interested in one asset, though it could partner with Stelco (OTCPK:STZHF) or others. Steel Dynamics (STLD) may also be potentially in the process.
"This looks to be Cleveland-Cliffs to lose because there's a feeling that it's a must have in some ways, but there is not an insignificant amount of continued interest in this asset as this process moves forward into what will be final bids, let's call it the next couple of weeks," Faber said.
The latest updates come after Bloomberg reported Thursday that final bids for US Steel (X) are expected shortly after some site visits next week. CNBC's Faber said he expects the sales process may be completed by the end of the month.
The report comes after Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF) is said to have signed a non-disclosure agreement and short standstill agreement so it can participate in the US Steel (X) sales process. The standstill agreement expires on Dec. 1, according to CNBC.
In August, US Steel (X) said it entered into confidentiality agreements with "numerous" third parties. US Steel (X) started a formal review process after rejecting the Cliffs (CLF) bid. US Steel (X) rejected a $7.3 billion cash and stock bid from Cliffs (CLF) in August.

Lo último de este tema es esto:
"US Steel (NYSE:X) quickly ticked higher, though it has since gone negative amid a report that ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) is in the lead position to acquire the steelmaker.
ArcelorMittal (MT) is speculated to be in advanced discussions with Societe Generale and Credit Agricole to finance its bid for US Steel (X), according to a Betaville "uncooked" alert on Wednesday. There's some speculation that MT is teamed up with Nippon Steel (OTCPK:NISTF) in its bid for US Steel.
The report appears to contradict an item from CNBC's David Faber on Friday that Cleveland-Cliffs (NYSE:CLF), which originally made a bid for US Steel (X) that was rejected in August, is in the pole position to buy the company.

(NYSE:X) has been attracting a diverse range of bidders for its potential sale, including Cleveland-Cliffs (NYSE:NYSE:CLF), ArcelorMittal (NYSE:NYSE:MT), and a new entrant from Argentina, Techint's Ternium.
Techint's interest in acquiring up to 90% of US Steel's assets has positioned it as a significant contender in the ongoing bidding process
