CMA le pone un price target de 18.10 USD y en outperform. Pero tambien levanta el tema que hace ruido en el mercado:
CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
In terms of corporate governance, a first issue is the
holding’s complex structure and transactions whose
potential benefit are not always clear to the minority
shareholder. For instance, in December 2014, IRSA
transferred several office buildings to its controlled company
IRCP, in a transaction that amounted to USD 300 million and
that was paid with intra-company debt. The acquisition of
Israeli IDB in mid 2014, and the huge losses that this
company has brought to the holding since then, create
doubts among investors.
A second concern in terms of corporate governance is the
holding’s dependence on Eduardo Elsztain, who is the main
shareholder of Cresud (with over 39% of the stock), apart
from being the CEO of IRSA, and the Board Chairman of
Cresud, IRSA, IRCP and Banco Hipotecario. His brother,
Alejandro, is the CEO of Cresud and IRCP. Until recently,
Cresud paid a management fee equal to 10% of earnings to
a consulting firm owned by Eduardo Elsztain; many
considered this a virtual dividend paid only to majority
shareholders.
