NEW YORK (Reuters) - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc on Monday filed its reorganization plan with the US bankruptcy court in Manhattan, proposing a way to end the largest US bankruptcy case in history. NUEVA YORK (Reuters) - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc presentó el lunes su plan de reorganización con la corte de bancarrota de EE.UU. en Manhattan, que propone una manera de terminar el caso más grande de EE.UU. en bancarrota en la historia.

Under the Chapter 11 reorganization plan proposed by the company, Lehman sought authority to create an asset manager business called LAMCO that would specialize in management of Lehman's commercial real estate, mortgages, principal investments, private equity, corporate debt and derivatives assets. WAMU and the Story of the Equity Committee

Yesterday's 'settlement' would have been a done deal without an Equity Committee. Without an equity committee holders of common shares would have likely got NOTHING. What we saw instead was an opening gambit by the bondholders, JPM, and the FDIC to further carve up the remaining morsels on the WAMU corpse to their benefit. Morsels that rightly belong to the holders of common shares. The WAMU reorg plan is due on 26 March. Look for more 'settlements' before that date. Yesterdays action illustrates the imperative to have an equity committee for Lehman

Pensá que el face value de casi todas las preferidas es de $25.

En teoría sí, pero tengo entendido que no es definitorio. Es decir, no necesariamente entra directo en liquidación o en la gloria.
Sin dudas, lo que suceda, la hará volar o hundirse, pero no directamente a consagrarse o liquidarse.

Esto es a todo o nada,hay mucha plata en lheman dando vuelta y si la empresa se reorganiza las preferidas volaran.
No se si dos dias lo unico que se es que todavia falta para el final mientras tanto podra subir y bajar con mucha volatilidad,dara oportunidades de salir,el tema es con cuanto uno quiere salir,mi objetivo es por los 0.70 pero hay gente que espera mas
