From January 1 through October 15, 2018, Gazprom produced an estimated 385.6 billion cubic meters of gas, an increase of 6.8% (+24.5 billion cubic meters) against the same period of last year.
The Company’s gas sales in the domestic market via the national gas transmission system added 4.5% (+7.5 billion cubic meters).
Gazprom’s gas exports to Europe in the first nine and a half months of 2018 reached 156.5 billion cubic meters, a rise of 5.2% (nearly 8 billion cubic meters) over the same period of 2017. Specifically, there was a significant increase in deliveries to the target markets of the Nord Stream 2 project. As such, gas supplies to Germany grew by 11.9% (+4.8 billion cubic meters), to Austria by 32.3% (+2 billion cubic meters), to the Netherlands by 38.6% (+1.3 billion cubic meters), and to France by 9.5% (+0.9 billion cubic meters). In addition, gas exports to Poland went up by 9.9%, to Greece by 17%, and to Denmark by 7.7%.
