After MSCI decided to keep Argentina in watchlist to become an Emerging Market, in 2017, we are heading to next June’s review with better prospects for the country, in our view. Even though we believe that this positive outlook, which is backed by the political environment and reforms introduced (and the ones expected to come), partially explains the hike that the Merval Argentina Index experienced (+15% in US$ during the last month, outperforming EM by 8%), we think that additional upside would be unlocked by the potential reclassification. According to our model, and if Argentina was reclassified today, the constituents of the Standard Index (Large & Mid cap.) under EM would be the same ones as in the Frontier Market Index plus one new company (Edenor)

Era cierto que la pastillita verde tenía efecto prolongado extra, ADR +5,16% en el inicio del 1er tiempo
