A group of US polyvinyl chloride producers announced a 3 cent/lb price increase for all grades of PVC resin effective February 1, according to customer letters seen Monday by Platts.
Axiall, Formosa Plastics Corporation USA, Shintech and Westlake announced the increases.
In its letter to customers, Axiall pointed to "strong supply/demand fundamentals coupled with anticipated demand growth in the first quarter" as reasons for the increase.
In spot markets, export PVC prices were last assessed December 17 at $745-$755/mt FAS Houston, as Platts did not assess PVC markets during the winter holidays. US export PVC closed the year at its lowest assessment since $740-$750/mt FAS Houston on November 4, 2009.
The end-of-year assessment owed to global trends of soft PVC demand, lower crude oil prices and dropping January prices.
Domestic PVC was last assessed December 17 at 57-59 cents/lb delivered railcar.
Para el primer trimestre 2015 mucho mejor va ` ser la cosa !!!!
El pvc bajo casi un 18% a nivel mundial ,podra haber siferentes precios en diferntes paises ,eso po r costos internos y seguros aduaneros ,pero la tebdencia es esa ,ya que bajo el etileno un 50% .
Calculo para el ultimo trimestral recuperar un margen del 20% de ganancia bruta ,ya que el tercero fue de un 10% ,en cuanto a ls facturacion bajara un 10% debido a que se trato de mantener el precio del pvc y tardo mas en bajar que el etileno .
De Oct a Nov PVC 3%
Etil 26,3%
De Nov a dic PVC 6,97%
Etil 12,5%
Dic a enero PVC 8,75%
Étileno 12,4%
10 % baja trimestral en PVc
Ahora si se planifica un aumento de 3 cent en el pvc a partir de febrero es casi un 10% en los precios de us que estan en 33cent ,
Y ese aumento se va a trasladar a mas ganancia
Ya bajaron el precio debido a la baja de su materia prima ,ahora lo van a empezar a auaumentar por la demanda
que a $ 20 los doy muy amablemente.
