IMHO.

as fairly valued at $2.96 per mcf of proved reserves (85% gas), in line with recent
deals.We believe XTO assets will compliment XOM's growth plans in
unconventional gas, and XOM's technical expertise will unlock additional XTO

ENERGY TO HOLD, FROM BUY (XTO 48.0***): Shares are up sharply as
ExxonMobil (XOM 73*****) agrees to acquire XTO, pending approvals, for $41B in
an all-stock deal that includes $10B in debt. XTO shareholders will receive 0.7098
XOM share for each XTO share, representing a 24% premium to XTO's 12/11
close.We calculate XTO will receive $2.96/Mcfe of proved reserves, in line with
similar transactions.We lift our 12-month target price $1 to $51 on our view that
XTO will trade near implied value of the deal, but we downgrade to hold as we
think upside is limited after today's move.We expect the deal to close in Q2 '10.

Como interpertan el gran volumen ala baja que esta haciendo XOM [tiene un promedio diario de 25 millones y en los ultimos 2 dias hizo 145 millones (hoy)y 93 millones (ayer)]....aguantara la linea de tendencia...? :105:

Tan mal lo tomo el mercado? Es oportunidad de compra? O sigue de largo? Porque la tendencia de fondo sigue siendo alcista para XOM....

FOR THE BULLS Credit Suisse analyst Paul Sankey, reiterating a “Buy” recommendation and an $80 price target, writes that Exxon’s move is very favorable for “long-term” investors, as it positions Exxon to be the low-cost leader, if you will, in natural gas. However, it also presages natural gas prices being poor over the long term.

FOR THE BEARS Katherine Minyard of Collins Stewart, reiterating a “Hold” recommendation on Exxon, notes that the deal should double Exxon’s U.S. natural gas reserves and increase its worldwide production 12%. However, she warns that by her calculations, Exxon is paying more for XTO’s reserves than the market is paying for Exxon’s. Given that, and the lackluster outlook for natural gas, she expects Exxon to continue to trade down on the deal.

Amigo, creo que hoy en FRE se habian pasado de rosca en un momento pagando +40 guitas sobre lo que valia FNM, cuando la diferencia estas ultimas semanas nunca era de mas de 15/20 con toda la furia. Y cuando se dio vuelta la torta a FRE le pegaron mas. Fijate que desde el maximo FRE cayo muy fuerte comparado con FNM. Asique hize una bien y una mal. Vendi bien a 1.58 pero me apure en pagar FNM a 1.21. Aunque si me quedaba en FRE perdia bastante mas, como 7% mas desde los maximos.

Yo creo que si toca los 1001, se prendería una señal de venta hasta los 996. Hasta entonces wait.
