Sobre el rumor de que hay una aerolinea interesada en MESA ... en el foro de Yahoo dicen:

"There has been some talk on the airline forums that Air Wisconsin wants to buy Mesa in order to expand further. Mesa has some valuable contracts in their hands, so Air Wisconsin would get those. No hints on what would be the deal, but to several people in the industry it would make a lot of sense for Air Wisconsin. Kind of reminds me of the rally which Frontier made a few months ago when Republic aquired it but Southwest came in with a bid too.
"

MESA has a future IMO. It´s a reasonable story unlike gambles like JAL or WAMU. Cost structures can improve much quicker here and therefore assets can advance. BK can be a chance as well and if management acts reasonable, MESA might as well become an acquisition target for international airlines to step into the US market.

Champion Sale Receives Final Court Approval Closing Slated for Week of March 15, 2010
6:33p ET March 3, 2010 (PR NewsWire)

Champion Enterprises, Inc. (Pink Sheets: CJHBQ), a leader in factory-built construction, announced today that the sale of substantially all of its domestic and international operations has received final court approval. The sale, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, is expected to close during the week of March 15, 2010. In connection with the transaction, an investor group consisting of affiliates of Centerbridge Partners, L.P., MAK Capital Fund LP and Sankaty Advisors, LLC will invest $50 million in new capital to support the operations and growth initiatives of the new company.

The transaction is supported by a group of Champion's current lenders who, together with the lead investors, will exchange 100 percent of existing debt under Champion's pre-petition and debtor-in-possession senior secured credit agreements for equity in the new company and a $40 million senior secured five year note.

"The pending completion of this transaction is a significant step forward for Champion and represents very positive news for our customers, employees and other business partners," said William C. Griffiths, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Champion Enterprises, Inc. "Upon completion of the transaction, our business will be significantly deleveraged and, as a result, positioned to capitalize on our strong market presence and many years of operational improvements. The infusion of new capital will allow us to fund growth initiatives as the housing markets begin to recover, and is particularly well timed in light of the upcoming spring selling season."
